Willett Pot Still Reserve is the featured bottle in Issue No. 004 — Willett Is Not One Whiskey, which uses it to open a wider look at how differently Willett’s family of labels are actually built. It enters the barrel at 115 proof and bottles at 94, on a 65/20/15 corn-wheat-barley recipe that Willett publishes and presents as distilled, aged and bottled in-house.

The issue’s own Collector’s Map files this one under “Drink” — accessible, useful and educational, rather than a chase bottle. See the full issue for how it compares to Willett Family Estate Bourbon, Family Estate Rye, and the shared-recipe trio of Noah’s Mill, Rowan’s Creek and Old Bardstown Bottled-in-Bond.
